About This Project

Kristin Larson, an author, inventor, and mental health advocate, partnered with Canvas Chrome Designs to build SimpleKindness.co as a dedicated digital platform for her books, advocacy work, and initiatives promoting kindness. The website was designed to combine an eCommerce experience with a personal, mission-driven brand presence.

Its structure brings together featured books and products, dedicated shopping categories, trending products, promotional sections, customer-focused content, and information about Kristin’s work. The homepage uses a clean and approachable visual language with large promotional banners, category imagery, product showcases, bestseller sections, testimonials, and newsletter subscription functionality.

The platform also provides dedicated navigation for books, kids’ products, office products, clothing, cosmetics, wellness, and other merchandise. A major focus of the project was creating a clear content hierarchy within a tight three-week development timeline. Close collaboration helped translate the heart of the Simple Kindness movement into a structured digital experience that balances commerce with storytelling and advocacy.

The resulting website provides Simple Kindness with a unified platform to present publications, products, and its broader message while giving visitors an accessible way to discover and support Kristin Larson’s work. Kristin’s public profile also identifies SimpleKindness.co as her company website and highlights her work as an author and mental health advocate.
